Giant Eagle revealed today the extension of its collaboration with DoorDash, the local commerce platform, making on-demand grocery delivery accessible across all corporate Giant Eagle supermarkets and Market District outlets spanning Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, and West Virginia. This broadened partnership follows an initial venture in 2022, when Giant Eagle and DoorDash trialed the service in select Ohio stores. Now, consumers can leverage DoorDash to promptly order groceries and daily necessities, with deliveries swiftly arriving on the same day, averaging under an hour*, directly to their doorstep from all Giant Eagle and Market District establishments.

With millions of consumers engaging in DoorDash’s convenience and grocery categories monthly, and over 150,000 non-restaurant stores already integrated into DoorDash’s Marketplace and Drive platforms across North America, Giant Eagle’s inclusion enhances accessibility to grocery and convenience shopping for over 99 percent of DoorDash’s monthly U.S. consumers.
