Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, the popular family sports bar and grill chain with locations across more than 20 states, has teamed up with global leader in voice AI, SoundHound, to implement a state-of-the-art voice AI ordering system. This new technology, initially deployed at all corporate locations and now available for franchise integration, is tailored to Beef ‘O’ Brady’s extensive menu and allows customers to place pick-up orders through natural speech.
The voice AI system is designed for high accuracy and efficiency, handling 100% of calls even during peak times. It can manage multiple orders simultaneously, freeing up staff to focus on meal preparation and in-store service.
With the 2024 Summer Olympics approaching, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s customers can now easily order their favorite meals using SoundHound’s AI system, whether they are hosting a viewing party or enjoying the games with family. The system also addresses a range of inquiries, from menu details and specials to opening hours and allergen information.
Jason Saposnik, VP of Information Technology at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. “By integrating SoundHound’s advanced AI technology, we aim to make ordering as seamless and natural as possible, allowing our team to focus on delivering great food and experiences,” he said.
SoundHound AI’s expansion in the restaurant industry is supported by a recent consumer study indicating that nearly 80% of U.S. diners expect AI voice assistants to handle most food orders in the near future. SoundHound’s solutions are already in over 10,000 restaurant locations, with capabilities spanning phone, drive-thru, kiosk, headset, and more. The company’s recent acquisition of Allset, an online ordering platform, further enhances its industry reach and relationships.
James Hom, Chief Product Officer at SoundHound AI, highlighted the importance of convenience in today’s dining preferences. “Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is setting a benchmark by embracing AI technology to enhance customer interactions. We are excited to collaborate with them to shape the future of the restaurant industry and expand our presence in this space.”
