HelloFresh, Factor, & St. Mary’s Food Bank Donate 1 Million Meals to Phoenix Community

HelloFresh, the world’s leading meal kit provider, and its sister brand, Factor, America’s top ready-to-eat meal delivery service, have achieved a significant milestone by donating one million meals to Phoenix area residents through St. Mary’s Food Bank. As Hunger Action Month concludes, both companies reaffirm their commitment to combating food insecurity for nearly 2 million Arizonans, pledging continued donations through 2025.

With distribution centers in Phoenix and Goodyear, HelloFresh and Factor have partnered with St. Mary’s Food Bank to deliver over 17,000 meals each week to the local community. HelloFresh’s “Meals with Meaning” program provides meal kits, containing fresh produce and proteins, to those facing food insecurity, including homebound seniors. Meanwhile, Factor’s “Fuel for Change” initiative supplies ready-to-eat meals to St. Mary’s Food Bank partners, such as food pantries, homeless shelters, and domestic violence shelters.

“The reality of food insecurity is alarming, and with rising grocery costs, it’s crucial that nutritious food is accessible to those in need,” said Jeff Yorzyk, Senior Director of Sustainability at HelloFresh. “We’re proud to reach this milestone with the help of St. Mary’s Food Bank and continue supporting our Phoenix community.”

To mark this achievement and close Hunger Action Month, volunteers from St. Mary’s Food Bank packed and distributed 8,000 HelloFresh meals and 4,000 Factor meals at a drive-through event.

“As hunger rates rise, HelloFresh and Factor remain invaluable partners,” said Milt Liu, President and CEO of St. Mary’s Food Bank. “Their donations provide relief and nutritious meals, especially for homebound seniors. We thank them for their commitment to fighting hunger in Arizona and nationwide.”
