Whetstone Distribution, a leading platform of regional food distributors, has announced its acquisition of Anmar Foods, a renowned Chicago-based meat supplier. Founded in 1994 by Michael Casper and Robert Martinelli, Anmar specializes in high-quality beef, turkey, chicken, and a variety of other proteins, including pork, lamb, sausages, and smoked products. Operating as a full-service meat distributor and processor in the Chicago metro area, Anmar’s addition enhances Whetstone’s product range, distribution channels, geographic reach, and customer base.
