INSÓLITO Tequila Expands Sales Team with Four Industry Veterans to Drive Growth and Market Expansion

INSÓLITO Tequila, a distinguished super-premium and confirmed additive-free tequila brand, has announced the appointment of four seasoned industry professionals to strengthen its regional sales strategy and national footprint. The company has welcomed Dan Streepy, Tom King, Stewart Domke, and Steve Manos as Regional Sales Managers, each bringing decades of experience in the beverage alcohol industry. These strategic additions come on the heels of the appointment of Shawn Thurman as Chief Growth Officer in September 2024, reinforcing INSÓLITO’s commitment to expanding its presence in the highly competitive spirits market.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dan, Tom, Stewart, and Steve to our growing team,” said Pete Kelly, Founder and CEO of INSÓLITO. “Their deep industry knowledge, strong relationships, and proven track records will be invaluable as we focus on strengthening our regional presence and accelerating national growth. Each of them brings a wealth of experience in distributor management, sales execution, and brand development, which will help drive INSÓLITO Tequila to new heights.”

Dan Streepy (Control States)

With over 35 years of experience in the beverage industry, Dan Streepy has played a pivotal role in sales leadership and distributor partnerships. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held key roles at renowned companies, including Famous Brands (SGWS Kansas), Brown-Forman, David Sherman Corporation, William Grant & Sons, and Luxco.

At Luxco, Dan was instrumental in spearheading distributor and broker consolidation efforts, securing critical national partnerships with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (SGWS) and Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC). His leadership was also integral in expanding Luxco’s international footprint, successfully opening distribution channels in major global markets such as the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Italy, Australia, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Russia. With his extensive expertise in control states and a proven track record of fostering strong distributor relationships, Dan is set to play a crucial role in expanding INSÓLITO’s presence in key markets.

Tom King (Southwest)

Bringing over three decades of experience in the beverage alcohol industry, Tom King is a highly respected leader known for his ability to drive sales growth and profitability through strategic distributor management and strong customer relationships. His career includes 11 years at Diageo, where he rose to the position of Business Unit Director for the Desert Pacific Region.

Tom later transitioned to the distributor side, serving in senior roles at SGWS and Alliance Beverage. As General Manager and Vice President of National Accounts at SGWS, he was responsible for overseeing large-scale distribution strategies, ensuring consistent growth across multiple markets. He later served as Senior Vice President at Alliance Beverage and most recently held the position of West Region Vice President at WES Brands. With his extensive knowledge of the Southwest market and deep relationships within the industry, Tom is well-positioned to drive INSÓLITO’s expansion in this critical region.

Stewart Domke (South Central)

Stewart Domke joins INSÓLITO Tequila from Suntory Global Spirits, where he held multiple leadership roles, including National Director of Strategic Accounts, Senior Off-premise Manager, and Chain Account Manager. With a career spanning 25 years in the spirits industry, Stewart has demonstrated an exceptional ability to grow brands and lead high-performing teams.

He began his career as a distributor sales representative at Republic Beverage Company (now RNDC) and Glazer’s (now SGWS), eventually earning promotions to District Sales Manager. His extensive experience in both on- and off-premise sales makes him a key asset to INSÓLITO as the brand strengthens its foothold in the South Central region.

Steve Manos (East)

With decades of experience in the wine and spirits industry, Steve Manos has a remarkable history of driving growth, increasing profitability, and building top-tier sales teams. He spent 30 years at Prestige Wine Imports, where he ascended to the role of Vice President of Sales for the East Division. In this role, he oversaw distribution across 18 U.S. states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Steve’s expertise in managing large-scale sales operations and his strong distributor relationships will be instrumental in expanding INSÓLITO’s reach in the Eastern U.S. His ability to implement effective sales strategies and execute market expansion initiatives will contribute significantly to the brand’s overall growth objectives.
