The 2nd Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practice Conference was successfully held on June 26, 2025, in Stuttgart, Germany, drawing participation from leading companies, government representatives, and ESG experts from across Europe and China. Organized by the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt, the event showcased corporate excellence in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, honoring a range of enterprises for their forward-thinking initiatives. Among the distinguished awardees was China-based Amos Food Group, which received the Best Practice Award for Social Responsibility.

With the inspiring theme “Together We Are Strong – For a More Innovative, Healthy, Intelligent, and Sustainable Future,” the conference aimed to promote collaboration between European and Chinese companies while sharing successful ESG case studies. The event was jointly hosted in cooperation with major German institutions, including the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK), and KPMG Germany. The conference also had strong support from Chinese business and research entities, notably the China-Europe Business Council and the Beijing ESG Research Institute.

This annual event serves as a high-level platform for corporations to showcase their leadership in ESG implementation and to exchange knowledge about sustainable development practices that can be scaled globally. In a time when ESG factors are playing a crucial role in shaping investment decisions and corporate reputations, the conference emphasized the importance of integrating sustainability deeply into corporate strategy.

Celebrating Excellence Across Six ESG Categories

An expert jury, comprising representatives from TÜV Rheinland, KPMG Germany, the Beijing ESG Research Institute, and other authoritative institutions, selected the award-winning companies across six major ESG categories: environmental protection, social responsibility, corporate management, scientific and technological innovation, education and training, and other ESG-related innovative practices.

Notable recipients of the 2025 awards included international corporations such as Sinopec, Global New Material International, Bayer China, Airbus China, and Air China. Each company was recognized for its unique contributions to ESG development, ranging from emissions reduction and supply chain transparency to employee welfare programs and technological innovation for sustainability.

Amos Food Group stood out in the Social Responsibility category for its exemplary commitment to community engagement, ethical governance, and employee-centric programs. The award acknowledges the company’s proactive role in promoting positive societal impact alongside its business growth.

Chairman Amos Ma accepted the honor on behalf of the group and delivered a keynote speech outlining the company’s journey in ESG development and its strategic outlook for sustainability.

Ma detailed how the company integrates ESG into its core business strategy through ethical sourcing, waste reduction, employee welfare initiatives, and community outreach. “We are constantly working to ensure our operations are inclusive, environmentally friendly, and socially impactful,” he added.

The company has launched several community programs focused on nutrition education, children’s welfare, and disaster relief.
