Aramark Announces Tom Ondrof Plans to Retire as Chief Financial Officer; Jim Tarangelo, SVP Finance & Treasurer, Appointed Successor
Aramark( NYSE ARMK) moment blazoned that Tom Ondrof, Chief Financial Officer, plans to retire from his current position on January 12, 2024, at which time he’ll serve as a Strategic Advisor through May 2024. Jim Tarangelo, Aramark’s elderly Vice President Finance & Treasurer, has been appointed to succeed Ondrof as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 13.
“ Tom leaves a strong heritage that’s both broad and deep, ” said John Zillmer, Aramark’s Chief Executive Officer. “ When I asked him to join Aramark shortly after my return, he left a hard- earned withdrawal to help us produce and drive a successful growth strategy grounded on our hospitality culture, concentrated on accelerating net new business, optimizing force chain economics, containing above unit costs, and breeding a value- creating mindset across the association. In his current part, Tarangelo, a 20- time stager of Aramark, presently leads the Company’s operations relating to global storeroom and capital requests, fiscal planning and analysis, combinations and accessions, and duty. His accomplished career at the Company spans from operations finance to transnational finance, which included overseeing the finance associations for South America and Emerging requests, and eventually serving as CFO, Aramark International.
Before joining Aramark, Tarangelo was at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Legg Mason within investment banking. He holds a bachelorette’s degree in business and economics from Lafayette College and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
