
Valmont® Industries, Inc. (NYSE: VMI), a global leader that provides products and solutions to support vital infrastructure and advance agricultural productivity, today announced William “Eric” Johnson will join the company as Chief Accounting Officer effective October 20, 2025. Mr. Johnson will be an integral leader on the finance team overseeing the Company’s accounting and SEC reporting functions, and reporting directly to Tom Liguori, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Valmont, Mr. Johnson served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer at Conagra Brands, Inc. (NYSE: CAG), a leading $12 billion food and beverage company. Before that, he was Director of Internal Audit at Kiewit Corporation, a major construction and engineering firm. Mr. Johnson began his career at KPMG, where he spent more than 12 years in roles of increasing responsibility, including international audit experience in Europe and with global clients. He holds a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Missouri and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Before joining Valmont, William Eric Johnson built an extensive career in finance and accounting leadership across several major corporations. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer at Conagra Brands, Inc. (NYSE: CAG), one of the United States’ leading food and beverage companies with annual revenues exceeding $12 billion. In this role, Johnson oversaw Conagra’s financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations, contributing significantly to the company’s fiscal integrity and strategic growth.
Prior to his tenure at Conagra, Johnson held the position of Director of Internal Audit at Kiewit Corporation, a globally recognized construction and engineering enterprise. His work there focused on strengthening audit frameworks, improving compliance processes, and ensuring financial transparency across large-scale projects.

Johnson began his professional journey at KPMG, one of the world’s top accounting firms, where he dedicated more than 12 years to auditing and financial advisory services. His time at KPMG included international assignments in Europe and work with major global clients, providing him with a deep understanding of multinational business operations.
He holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Missouri and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and financial stewardship.
