Pringles® Returns with Flavor and Fun for Big Game Day
Pringles® is back with its irresistible crisps and iconic mustached character for the seventh consecutive Big Game ad spot, “Mr. P”. Fans have long been spotting “the Pringles guy” (aka Mr. P) in various places, with over 30,000 sightings shared on social media. Inspired by these encounters, Pringles is showcasing Mr. P in unexpected places and faces, including Hollywood star Chris Pratt, known for his distinctive mustache.
The ad spot features Pratt noticing the striking resemblance between himself and Mr. P, leading to an amusing realization that the character is everywhere, even within himself. Pratt, honored to be part of the campaign, eagerly embraced the opportunity to portray Mr. P, growing out his mustache to get into character.
“In our first Big Game appearance as Kellanova, we’re celebrating how our fans have organically been spotting and sharing Mr. P in the wild for years,” said Lyndsay Rogers, Kellanova’s U.S. Salty Snacks Vice President and General Manager.
The :30 second spot, created by Grey New York, will air during the first quarter of the game and will be supported by a comprehensive marketing campaign, including PR, digital, retail marketing, and social media.
In addition to the ad, Pringles invites fans to share their Mr. P sightings or creations on Instagram or TikTok using #ISeeMrP and #PringlesContest for a chance to win up to $15,000.
To enhance the fun, Pringles offers an interactive Mr. P Snap Lens on Snapchat, allowing users to transform themselves into Mr. P and explore iconic U.S. landmarks virtually.
