Coca-Cola Appoints Henrique Braun as Executive Vice President and COO

The Coca-Cola Company announced today that Henrique Braun will assume the role of Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 1, 2025. In this expanded position, Braun will oversee all of Coca-Cola’s global operating units and report directly to Chairman and CEO James Quincey.

Currently serving as EVP and President of International Development, Braun manages operations across several key regions, including Latin America; Japan and South Korea; ASEAN and South Pacific; Greater China and Mongolia; Africa; India and Southwest Asia; and Eurasia and the Middle East. As COO, Braun will expand his responsibilities to include oversight of the North America and Europe operating units.

“Henrique has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership in executing our growth strategies and achieving operational milestones, always keeping the consumer at the heart of decision-making,” Quincey said. “He is a trusted and strategic leader, known for developing talent and delivering results.”

Career Highlights

Braun, 56, joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1996 and has held diverse roles spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. His career includes leadership positions in supply chain management, business development, marketing, innovation, and general management.

In recent years, Braun served as:

  • President, Latin America Operating Unit (2020–2022)
  • President, Brazil Business Unit (2016–2020)
  • President, Greater China & Korea Business Unit (2013–2016)

These roles, along with his contributions at both regional and corporate levels, have established Braun as a seasoned leader within the company.

Education

Braun holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a Master of Science from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Georgia State University.
