The project’s advertising campaigns, Eccebio bolstered by a robust social media presence, have successfully penetrated diverse networks, ranging from retail points of sale and restaurants to hotels, culinary schools, and individual consumers with a passion for gastronomy. The initiative has not only heightened awareness but has also inspired shifts in consumer behavior towards more sustainable and health-conscious choices.

In Italy, the collaboration with renowned partners like Ricci il Salumiere in Rome and Cavalletti has been instrumental. Together, they orchestrated nearly 140 days of promotions and tastings in the bustling heart of Rome. The Conad supermarket chain also played a crucial role, leveraging its strategic locations in the capital to introduce organic EVOO and olives directly to consumers, encouraging healthier and more sustainable purchasing habits.

Moving to Germany, Eccebio organized 100 days of promotional activities across cities such as Munich, Dresden, and Ravensburg. Prominent retail chains like Conti Import, Italmarket, and Feinkost Spina became pivotal in these efforts. German consumers were not only Eccebio introduced to the myriad health benefits of organic EVOO and olives but also educated on selecting the perfect product for various culinary applications. A targeted direct mail campaign featuring the acclaimed recipes of Chef Iside De Cesare further enriched the consumer experience. Her culinary creations turned the Eccebio recipe book—authored by experts and highlighting 100% European organic oils—into a comprehensive guide for making informed, sustainable purchases.

In France, the initiative found a warm welcome in ten Parisian restaurants, which collectively organized over 100 days dedicated to organic EVOO. These establishments brought together customers, chefs, and content creators, creating a vibrant celebration of a product that epitomizes European culinary excellence.

A cornerstone of the Eccebio project lies in its commitment to education and the cultivation of future gastronomic talents. Belgium is set to host a defining event at the University of Liège – Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, a hub of innovation and research in agriculture and nutrition.
