The highly anticipated Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival is back at Central Harbourfront from October 23 to 27, 2024. This year, the festival expands to a spectacular five-day event, inviting food and wine lovers from all over to indulge in a sensory feast amidst the stunning scenery of Victoria Harbour. Attendees can explore over 300 booths featuring a vibrant array of global flavors, along with interactive gourmet experiences, live entertainment, and a festive Halloween atmosphere.
In conjunction with the festival, visitors can immerse themselves in the city’s culinary scene during Taste Around Town, a citywide gastronomic celebration with special menus and offers at bars and restaurants throughout Hong Kong from October 28 to November 30. Explore a World of Wines and Spirits
Wine enthusiasts will appreciate a diverse selection from over 30 countries and regions, including renowned areas like Bordeaux and Chile, as well as lesser-known gems. Guests can sample exquisite Chinese wines, such as Guizhou Baijiu, a staple at state banquets, and the acclaimed Jade Dove Cabernet, noted as one of the “Top 10 Wines of the Year 2021 in China” by wine critic James Suckling.
A new zone dedicated to gins and whiskies will delight spirit aficionados, featuring cocktails from local bars and brands, including Cantonese-inspired drinks from Kinsman, tea-infused creations from Tell Camellia, and locally produced gin from Hong Kong distillery N.I.P.
A Culinary Wonderland Awaits
With over 100 food booths, the festival will showcase themed zones like “Culinary Stars” and “Hotel Delicious,” featuring Michelin-starred restaurants and Bib Gourmand-recognized eateries. Attendees can savor iconic dishes from acclaimed establishments such as the three-Michelin-starred Forum Restaurant and award-winning venues like Hong Kong Cuisine 1983 and Fisholic.
Engaging Culinary Experiences
Join masterclasses and themed workshops at the Tasting Theatre, led by celebrated chefs and sommeliers. Interactive experiences include wine and cocktail pairing classes and a workshop by James Beard-recognized chef Nancy Silverton, who will share her secrets behind her reimagined Caesar salad.
Relax in the Harbour Lounge, where renowned mixologists will craft signature cocktails against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour. Over the festival, guest bartenders from Asia’s 50 Best Bars will showcase creative cocktails and exclusive limited-edition drinks.
The festival will also feature a dynamic lineup of live performances from local and international musicians, creating an energetic atmosphere with genres ranging from jazz to pop and R&B.
Celebrate Halloween in Style
On the weekend of October 26–27, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival will transform into a gourmet Halloween extravaganza. Guests are encouraged to wear creative costumes for a chance to earn tokens, while Halloween-themed performances and live music enhance the festive spirit.
Citywide Taste Around Town
From October 28 to November 30, more than 300 restaurants and bars across Hong Kong will participate in Taste Around Town, a month-long celebration featuring four themed campaigns.
Food lovers can indulge in “Beef Up November,” showcasing over 40 steakhouses and hotpot restaurants offering exclusive beef dishes and special menus. Meanwhile, “Chill EAT” will provide discounts at over 200 mid- to high-end restaurants.
Bars in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong’s vibrant nightlife district, will also join the festivities, offering complimentary welcome drinks and discounts on tasting menus as part of “Sip and Savour in LKF.” Additionally, over 70 bars citywide will participate in the “Hong Kong Bar Show,” providing festival-goers with free or discounted drinks.
