TransAct Wins Food Service Deal with National Healthcare Provider
TransAct® Technologies Food Service Incorporated (Nasdaq: TACT), a global leader in software-driven technology and printing solutions, has announced a significant win in the contract foodservice industry. The company has entered into a three-year agreement with a nationally recognized healthcare services provider to implement its innovative BOHA!® ecosystem across 131 hospitals. This collaboration marks a strategic move that will enhance food safety compliance, operational efficiency, and patient support services in healthcare settings across the country.
Following a successful pilot program,Food Service the healthcare provider chose to deploy TransAct’s BOHA! platform throughout its contracted hospital network. This wide-scale rollout will involve the installation of 229 BOHA! Terminal 2 devices, specifically designed for accurate and efficient date code labeling. The decision underscores the provider’s commitment to digital transformation and improved foodservice operations.
In addition to the core labeling functionality, 34 hospital locations will also benefit from a more comprehensive suite of BOHA! technologies. Food Service These sites will implement BOHA! Timer, BOHA! Temp, and BOHA! Sense systems. The deployment of these tools will include 68 BOHA! Gateways and 770 BOHA! As part of the agreement, TransAct will also provide Premier Express Warranty services, dissolvable food safety labels, and professional installation and training for all equipment.
