Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, the leading global distributor of beverage alcohol, has announced the appointment of Jamie Gruwer as Senior Vice President of National Accounts On Premise, effective August 26, 2024. Gruwer will report to Chris Williams, Executive Vice President of National Accounts, and will focus on enhancing the success of the company’s on-premise customers, expanding the national market presence of supplier partners, and mentoring National Accounts employees to foster strategic and lasting relationships. She will relocate from South Florida to Dallas, TX, to work closely with her National Accounts On Premise (NAOP) team.

Currently serving as Vice President of Supplier & Customer Collaboration, Gruwer has spent the past six years developing cross-functional synergy programs that have unlocked savings, efficiencies, and revenue opportunities across the value chain. Before this role, she was Senior Director of Supply Chain and Operations Strategy at Southern Glazer’s. Gruwer, a 2019 graduate of the Company’s Exceptional Leaders Program, joined Southern Glazer’s in 2016 after a five-year tenure as a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Advisory, where she worked on mergers and acquisitions, supply chain management, and IT projects, including the 2016 merger of Southern Wine and Glazer’s, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from the University of Texas at Austin.
