AGRICULTURE
Agrarius Business Development and Product Registration/Salability Advancements including Brazil, Colombia, and Canada
MVMD executed an Amended and Restated Supply and License Agreement with Agrarius Corp. (AC), acquiring an exclusive license for AC’s plant signaling technology in North America, Mexico, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The OMRI-certified Agrarius product aims to naturally increase yields, reduce fertilizer usage, and enhance resilience to pests and climate change.
Agrarius has demonstrated significant yield increases and reduced fertilizer usage in numerous crop trials. MVMD’s agronomists, in collaboration with third-party agricultural testing partners and academic institutions, have conducted extensive studies, showing positive impacts on plant health and yields.
MVMD is actively conducting business development in Mexico, Central America, South America, Canada, and the USA. Agrarius is now saleable in the EU, 44 US states, Canada, and Brazil. Colombia received import approval on July 19, 2024, with final approval anticipated by early August 2024. Additional approvals are expected in Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Uruguay, and Mexico through 2024.
“We believe the recent registration in Brazil is significant for our commercialization plans and long-term shareholder value,” said Hancock. “Brazil is one of the largest agricultural markets, and we have a strong business development pipeline, including collaborations with top agricultural organizations.”
MVMD has filed for Agrarius trademark protection in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia.
MVMD launched a Performance Guarantee Program targeting farm operations in Canada and the USA, allowing clients to pay for Agrarius only after achieving a minimum agreed performance enhancement. The program aims to demonstrate Agrarius’s effectiveness while minimizing financial risk for clients.
To support business development and the Performance Guarantee Program, MVMD has updated the Agrarius brand, including international website content and a brand positioning video in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
With recent registration confirmations and anticipated approvals, MVMD expects initial Agrarius-related revenues in Q4 2024.
