Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Promotes Amy Kickham to Chief Human Resources Officer
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, a leading distributor of beverage alcohol globally, has announced the promotion of Amy Kickham to Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately. In her new role, Kickham will report directly to Wayne E. Chaplin, Chief Executive Officer, and join the Executive Leadership Team. Her strategic focus will be to steer Southern Glazer’s human capital and talent management efforts in alignment with the company’s long-term strategic goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing HR functions, shaping talent and succession strategies, driving organizational design and leadership development, and championing inclusion and diversity initiatives.
Previously serving as Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness since 2021, Kickham played a pivotal role in enhancing talent acquisition, management, development, and HR marketing strategies across the enterprise.

With over 25 years of experience, Kickham’s career journey at Southern Glazer’s began in 2012 as Human Resources Director, progressing to Vice President, Human Resources in 2015. She further honed her leadership skills as Vice President of Human Resources at Propper International in 2017 before founding Human Resources Connections in 2018. Returning to Southern Glazer’s in 2019 as Vice President, Human Resources Operations, Policy, and Employee Relations, Kickham was subsequently promoted to Vice President, Human Resources, Central Region in 2020.
