Earlier this year, Burger King launched its first-ever Million Dollar Whopper Contest, inviting over a million Whopper enthusiasts to submit their dream Whopper creations for a chance to have their sandwich featured in restaurants and win a $1 million grand prize. Although only three finalists were selected, Burger King is expressing its gratitude to Royal Perks members who participated by offering one million original Whopper sandwiches for just $1 (while supplies last*). Starting on November 12, Royal Perks members can redeem a $1 Whopper sandwich through the “offers” tab in the BK App.
After enjoying the classic Whopper for just $1, guests can visit their local Burger King restaurant beginning Thursday, November 14, to try the three finalist creations from the Million Dollar Whopper Contest. The three innovative finalist sandwiches include:
- Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper (Created by Fabian from California) – A ¼ lb. flame-grilled beef patty topped with creamy pickle ranch, fried pickles, lettuce, bacon, and Swiss cheese, all served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper (Created by Calvin from California) – A ¼ lb. flame-grilled beef patty topped with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions, jalapeños, smoky maple candied bacon, and American cheese, all on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Mexican Street Corn Whopper (Created by Kelsie from Nebraska) – A ¼ lb. flame-grilled beef patty topped with creamy street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, crunchy tortilla crisps, and spicy queso, all on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Guests can scan the QR code on the wrapper of each finalist sandwich to visit the BK App or bk.com/MDW, where they can vote for their favorite creation and help determine the winner of the $1 million prize. Voting is available from November 14 to December 5, 2024.
