Valmont® Industries, Inc. (NYSE: VMI), a global leader in infrastructure and agricultural productivity innovation, today announced the appointment of Thomas Liguori as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Liguori will oversee the global finance and accounting functions and report directly to Avner M. Applbaum, President and Chief Executive Officer.
With over 30 years of finance experience, Mr. Liguori brings a strong track record of creating value and has held CFO positions at multiple public companies. Most recently, he served as CFO of Fortna LLC, a private-equity-backed firm specializing in advanced distribution centers for e-commerce and omnichannel distribution. Prior to Fortna, he was CFO at Avnet, a Fortune 200 semiconductor distributor, where he played a crucial role in enhancing growth and profitability through improved working capital and operational efficiencies. His extensive experience spans various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, and technology.

Mr. Liguori holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Boston University, an MBA from Arizona State University, and has completed the Stanford University Strategic CFO Program. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Chapman University, teaching graduate and executive MBA courses. He is a Certified Management Accountant and an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
The company also announced that Timothy P. Francis, who has been serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Acting Chief Accounting Officer since July 2023, will continue with Valmont as Chief Accounting Officer, reporting to Mr. Liguori.
