Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), the leading rural lifestyle retailer in the U.S., will host its annual National Farmers Market on Saturday, September 28, at all of its 2,200+ store locations. This year’s event will feature the talents and products of local farmers, growers, artisans, craft makers, and other community producers.
The free, family-friendly event will be held outside Tractor Supply stores across the country, offering a variety of products such as fresh fruits and vegetables, arts and crafts, accessories, specialty foods, drinks, and more. Customers and community members are encouraged to visit and explore the diverse range of goods while supporting their local vendors.
Many sellers return each year to connect with their community. Jessica McIver-Younger, the owner of Lucky 22 Spice Co., has been a vendor at the National Farmers Market for three years. “The Farmers Market is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with fellow makers and meet new neighbors,” she said. “Norco, California is a close-knit rural town, and our local Tractor Supply is a key part of that community.”
Hobby farmer Paul Falkenberg, from Macomb County, Michigan, will also return for his third year. His business, Falkenberg’s Honey, collaborates with local farmers to provide hives for crop pollination. “Sharing my hobby with the community is one of my favorite things about the event,” Falkenberg noted. “Tractor Supply keeps my business running, and I love having locations nearby to support my work.”
Sunshine Acres Farm, which sells fresh produce, eggs, and meats in the Grove City, Pennsylvania area, will participate for a second year. “Our Tractor Supply is very community-focused,” said Johna Skolnekovich of Sunshine Acres. “The best part of returning is meeting new people and seeing the community support for local farmers.”
Kimberley Gardiner, chief marketing officer at Tractor Supply, praised the event, stating, “Tractor Supply’s National Farmers Market embodies the spirit of Life Out Here and highlights the uniqueness of our communities. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate our talented customers while nationally supporting local businesses.”
The Farmers Market will feature a variety of locally produced goods, from plants and herbs to soaps and candles. For more information about the event and Tractor Supply Company, visit their website.
