Hometown Heroes Spotlight Series: Elevating Team Members Who Serve
As part of its 2025 Hometown Heroes initiative, Tractor Supply is celebrating five extraordinary Team Members whose lives reflect courage, service, and community spirit. Each honoree receives recognition through the Hometown Heroes Spotlight Series, and a $5,000 donation will be made in their name to one of 10 nonprofit organizations selected for their support of military and first responder communities.
Meet the 2025 Hometown Heroes Spotlight Honorees:
- Lawrence Brooks V – Distribution Center Team Member in Frankfort, New York, and U.S. Air Force veteran. His charitable donation will benefit K9s For Warriors, an organization dedicated to pairing service dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD and other service-related trauma.
- Jonas Harrell – Store Manager in Sealy, Texas, and U.S. Army veteran. His chosen nonprofit is Team Rubicon, which mobilizes veterans to serve in disaster response efforts.
- Nick Lyon – Store Manager at Petsense by Tractor Supply in Safford, Arizona, and U.S. Army veteran. He has also selected K9s For Warriors as his beneficiary organization.
- Ashley Proper – Team Member in Titusville, Pennsylvania, and U.S. Air Force veteran. Her donation will go to Team Rubicon.
- Jenniefer Stout – Store Manager in Hendersonville, North Carolina, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former EMT. She, too, selected K9s For Warriors to receive the $5,000 charitable contribution.

The Hometown Heroes initiative, which launched in 2024 with an initial $1 million donation to 10 nationally recognized organizations, expanded in 2025 with another $1 million commitment announced on June 18.
