US Foods, a leading food service distributor, has announced the launch of its Fall 2024 Scoop™ collection, themed “Bar and Grill and Beyond.” This latest lineup features 24 innovative products designed to address the pressing concerns of food service operators, including rising labor and food costs, and customer acquisition challenges. The new products aim to help operators stand out with offerings that streamline inventory, labor, and time management.
The Fall Scoop collection includes versatile items suitable for various restaurant types, from bar and grill establishments to other casual dining concepts. Among these, 10 products are part of the “Serve You” portfolio, which includes over 3,300 US Foods Exclusive Brands products that meet criteria such as plant-forward, gluten-free certified, or clean ingredient labels, with no components on the US Foods Unpronounceables List®.

- Chef’s Line® All-Natural Cuban-Inspired Ropa Vieja: Developed by US Foods Product Developer Amy Bracco and Chef Frankie Ruiz, this product features a cost-efficient cut of beef cooked sous-vide for nine hours. It offers labor savings and authentic Cuban flavors with no ingredients on the US Foods Unpronounceables List®.
- Chef’s Line® All Natural Smoked Pork Butt: Created by Chef Ryan Udvett, this hickory smoked pork butt is seasoned and fully cooked, saving operators 40 minutes of prep time per case. It is also part of the Serve You portfolio and contains no unpronounceable ingredients.
- Chef’s Line® Battered Ricotta and Mascarpone Filled Zucchini Blossoms: Hand-filled and hand-battered zucchini blossoms from Italy, offering labor savings and no unpronounceable ingredients.
- Cross Valley Farms® Hibiscus Infused Fruit Blend: A versatile blend of diced fruits infused with hibiscus, developed by Chef Eric Clark. This product saves 50 minutes of prep time and can be used in various applications from cocktails to chutneys.
- del Pasado® Shredded Mexican-Style Three Cheese Blend: A cost-efficient blend of Asadero, Menonita, and Oaxaca cheeses, designed for authenticity and versatility across Mexican dishes.
- Devonshire® Cookie Butter Banana Pie: A ready-to-use dessert with cookie butter crust and banana cheesecake layers, saving 60 minutes of labor per case.
