White Castle and Garage Beer Rally Behind “Beer Cheese Me!” as the Season’s Catchphrase
This fall, White Castle and Garage Beer are taking their growing partnership to a new level with a limited-time menu that brings the two Ohio brands together inside participating White Castle restaurants for the first time. Following an earlier summer collaboration, the companies are combining their signature flavors to create a lineup built around one indulgent ingredient: beer cheese.
The collaboration introduces several new menu items featuring Garage Beer Cheese, a rich sauce made with Wisconsin aged cheddar and real Garage Beer. Available for a limited time, the offerings are designed to appeal to both White Castle’s loyal Cravers and fans of Garage Beer who enjoy the brands’ shared spirit of bold, authentic and unexpected food experiences.
“This fall might be the boldest yet,” said Jamie Richardson, chief marketing officer at White Castle, emphasizing the strong connection between the two Columbus-based brands. According to Richardson, White Castle and Garage Beer have continued to discover new ways to bring their shared personality to life through their collaborations.
Garage Beer CEO Andy Sauer also highlighted the natural fit between the companies. Beyond their shared Ohio roots, the brands have developed a collaborative relationship centered on creativity and fun.
“It’s always a blast working with White Castle,” Sauer said, noting that the partnership has already produced several projects and that the latest beer cheese-focused collaboration is another step in the relationship. The combination, he suggested, is a natural one—much like the pairing of sliders and beer.
The new restaurant menu builds on the momentum generated earlier this year. In July, White Castle and Garage Beer launched the limited-edition Super Summer Slider Starter Kit, a direct-to-consumer package that brought together exclusive merchandise, 20 Garage Beer Cheese Sliders, desserts and other items.
Now, the collaboration is moving directly into White Castle restaurants, giving customers an opportunity to experience the brands together during a fall season traditionally associated with comfort food, hearty flavors and gatherings.
The campaign also comes with a playful rallying cry: “Beer Cheese Me!”
A New Take on White Castle’s Beer Cheese
At the center of the new menu is Garage Beer Cheese, a specialty cheese sauce developed exclusively for White Castle’s collaboration with Garage Beer. Made with Wisconsin aged cheddar and real Garage Beer, the sauce delivers a combination of creamy cheese flavor and beer-inspired character.
The ingredient appears across three limited-time menu creations, giving customers several ways to enjoy the collaboration.
The Garage Beer Cheese Sausage Slider puts a new spin on the traditional White Castle Slider. The sandwich features a mini smoked sausage link topped with Garage Beer Cheese and caramelized onions, all served on White Castle’s signature Slider bun. The combination brings together savory sausage, sweet caramelized onions and creamy beer cheese in a compact format.
For customers looking for a shareable or snackable option, Pretzel Nibblers with Garage Beer Cheese pair soft, chewy pretzel bites with a warm Garage Beer Cheese dipping sauce. The pretzel pieces are fried until golden brown, creating a crispy exterior that contrasts with their soft interior. The warm cheese sauce provides a rich dip designed to complement the salty pretzels.

The collaboration also gives one of White Castle’s familiar sides a new treatment. Garage Beer Cheese Fries feature the chain’s classic crinkle-cut fries covered with warm Garage Beer Cheese. The result combines the familiar texture of White Castle fries with the richer flavor of the new cheese sauce.
Together, the three products offer different ways for customers to experience the collaboration, whether they are looking for a new Slider, a snack to share or an upgraded side.
A Limited-Time Combo for Cravers
White Castle is also packaging the new flavors into a dedicated value meal. The $6.99 combo includes two Garage Beer Cheese Sausage Sliders, a six-piece serving of Pretzel Nibblers with Garage Beer Cheese Sauce and a small soft drink.
The combination provides customers with a complete meal built around the collaboration’s signature beer cheese flavor. Individual menu items are also available at participating White Castle locations for those who want to mix and match their favorites.
The limited-time offerings began arriving at participating Castles on August 24 and are scheduled to remain available through November 1, or while supplies last. Availability may vary by restaurant.
Collaboration Extends Beyond the Menu
White Castle and Garage Beer are extending the partnership beyond food with a new collection of co-branded merchandise. The products are designed for fans who want to celebrate the collaboration at home, at gatherings or while enjoying their favorite White Castle and Garage Beer combinations.
The White Castle x Garage Beer Ice Bucket is designed to keep Garage Beer cold while adding a playful White Castle touch to entertaining. It provides a dedicated piece of merchandise for fans who want their drinks and Crave Cases to share the spotlight.
The White Castle x Garage Beer Tote Bag offers a practical way to carry everyday essentials, while embracing the visual identity of the collaboration. The companies position it as a convenient carrier for the essentials of a proper craving, including Garage Beer and White Castle Sliders.
Fans can also pick up the White Castle x Garage Beer Hat, a co-branded cap that combines elements of both companies. Designed as a casual accessory, the hat gives customers another way to show their enthusiasm for the partnership.
Rounding out the merchandise collection is the White Castle x Garage Beer Embroidered Patch, a small collectible celebrating the two brands and their shared Ohio connection.
Building a Broader Brand Partnership
The latest campaign illustrates how food and beverage brands are increasingly using collaborations to create experiences that extend beyond a single product launch. For White Castle and Garage Beer, the partnership combines two recognizable Ohio brands while giving each an opportunity to introduce its audience to the other.
White Castle brings its long history of Sliders, Crave culture and fast-food innovation, while Garage Beer contributes its beer-focused identity and Columbus roots. Their collaboration creates a platform for experimenting with flavors, merchandise and limited-time experiences without moving too far from either brand’s identity.
The launch also demonstrates how limited-time offerings can create urgency among consumers. With the Garage Beer Cheese menu available only through November 1 or while supplies last, fans have a defined window to try the products.
For White Castle, the collaboration offers another way to engage its Cravers with an unexpected twist on familiar menu items. For Garage Beer, it provides an opportunity to connect with customers through food and one of America’s most recognizable Slider brands.
As the companies continue their partnership, the fall campaign suggests that beer cheese may be only the latest chapter. With both brands signaling that more collaborations could be ahead, the partnership between White Castle and Garage Beer appears to have plenty of room for additional surprises.
For now, however, the message is simple: this fall, fans can raise their cravings with Sliders, pretzels, fries and a generous helping of Garage Beer Cheese—all under one playful call to action: “Beer Cheese Me!”
