Zoetis Inc. (NYSE: ZTS) has appointed Jamie Brannan to the newly established position of Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing all global commercial markets for the leading animal health company. In this role, Brannan will guide an evolved commercial structure aimed at accelerating the company’s growth strategy, enhancing global collaboration, and unlocking new growth opportunities.
Brannan, who is currently Zoetis’ Executive Vice President and Group President of International Operations, Aquaculture, and Global Diagnostics, will assume the position immediately. His responsibilities will now include overseeing commercial operations in the United States and international markets.

Additional Leadership Changes
Zoetis also announced the following leadership updates:
- Wafaa Mamilli, Executive Vice President, Chief Digital & Technology Officer, and Group President for China, Brazil, and Precision Animal Health, will leave the company in early 2025 to pursue an external opportunity. Zoetis thanks Mamilli for her contributions to the company’s advancements in technology, digital transformation, data analytics, and AI. She will remain at Zoetis until early 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.
- Keith Sarbaugh has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Technology Officer, joining the Zoetis Executive Team immediately. Sarbaugh, who joined Zoetis in 2023 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer, will now lead the company’s technology, digital, data, and analytics strategy, while continuing to oversee the Customer Experience function.
- Ester Banque, Executive Vice President and President of U.S. Operations, will step down to pursue other opportunities outside of Zoetis. She will continue to serve in an advisory role until early 2025 to ensure a smooth transition. Banque has been instrumental in driving above-market performance in the U.S. business.
- Jared Shriver has been appointed President of U.S. Operations, reporting to Brannan. With nearly 20 years at Zoetis, Shriver has held several commercial leadership roles, consistently exceeding financial targets and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Prior to this promotion, he was Senior Vice President of U.S. Livestock, Bio Devices, Equine, and Platinum Performance.
