Ahold Delhaize Announces Gorica Jovović as Brand President of Delhaize Serbia

Ahold Delhaize has announced that Gorica Jovović will officially become the Brand President of Delhaize Serbia starting June 1, 2024. Jovović had been serving in this role on an interim basis since January 1, 2024, and her position has now been confirmed. She will continue to report to Jesper Lauridsen, COO of the Central Southern Europe (CSE) region.

Instrumental Role

Born and raised in Serbia & Montenegro, Jovović joined Ahold Delhaize in 2014 and has been a member of the Delhaize Serbia Executive Committee since 2021. Under her leadership, the local brand Maxi successfully implemented its customer value proposition (CVP) strategy, which offers distinctive value to customers and fosters long-term partnerships with suppliers. Jovović has also been pivotal in advancing the company’s Health & Sustainability agenda and overseeing CSE commercial programs and joint initiatives.
