Common Debuts Jefferey Park, a New Wine Brand Created With Winemaker Karim Mussi and Gopuff
Grammy, Emmy and Academy Award-winning artist, actor, author and activist Common has unveiled Jefferey Park, a new limited-edition wine brand created in collaboration with acclaimed Argentine winemaker Karim Mussi and Gopuff, the instant-commerce company. The new wine brand makes its debut with Jefferey Park Pinot Noir 2024, which is now available through Gopuff and at select BevMo! locations.
The launch brings together Common’s personal connection to his Chicago roots, Mussi’s winemaking expertise and Gopuff’s direct-to-consumer delivery capabilities. The resulting wine is designed not only as a premium Pinot Noir but also as an expression of community, memories and the importance of sharing meaningful moments with others.
A Wine Inspired by Common’s Chicago Roots
The name Jefferey Park comes from a neighborhood park located just three blocks from Common’s childhood home on Chicago’s South Side. The location, formally known as Stony Island Park, holds personal significance for the artist and represents a place where he spent time with family, friends and loved ones while growing up.
That connection became the foundation for the new wine brand. Rather than focusing solely on luxury or exclusivity, Jefferey Park is intended to evoke the relaxed, communal experiences associated with gathering around a table and enjoying time with people who matter.
“With Jefferey Park, I wanted to capture that feeling of togetherness that’s behind so many of my favorite memories growing up,” said Common. “Gopuff understood that from day one and brought the right people together to make it happen. Working with Mussi was a big part of that. We connected over a shared appreciation for doing things with intention, using quality ingredients, and making something that feels special without trying too hard. We took our time getting this Pinot Noir just right, and I’m really proud of what we created together.”
Collaboration With Argentine Winemaker Karim Mussi
Common worked closely with Karim Mussi throughout the product-development process, helping refine the blend and shape the wine according to the flavor profile he envisioned.
Mussi is the founder and winemaker of Altocedro, an Argentine winery known for producing wines from Mendoza’s high-altitude vineyards. For Jefferey Park, the collaboration focused on creating a Pinot Noir that could combine sophistication and structure with an approachable character suitable for casual gatherings.
The partnership ultimately resulted in Jefferey Park Pinot Noir 2024, a limited-production wine sourced from Mussi’s Altocedro estate vineyard in La Consulta, one of the notable wine-growing areas within Mendoza’s Valle de Uco.
The wine provides an opportunity to highlight Argentina’s capabilities with Pinot Noir, a grape variety more commonly associated with regions such as Burgundy, Oregon and California. Argentina is internationally recognized for Malbec, but the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza also offer conditions that can support other varieties.
High-Altitude Pinot Noir From Mendoza
Jefferey Park Pinot Noir 2024 is made from 27-year-old clone 777 Pinot Noir vines planted at the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The vineyard’s high elevation, intense sunlight, cool nighttime temperatures and continental climate create conditions that can contribute to freshness, acidity and balance in the finished wine.
The grapes were fermented using native yeasts and the wine was aged for 12 months in neutral French oak barrels. This approach allows the fruit and vineyard character to remain prominent while adding structure and texture without overwhelming the wine with strong oak flavors.
The resulting Pinot Noir features vibrant red fruit characteristics alongside a refined structure. According to the brand, the wine is intended to be approachable when opened but also possesses the balance and complexity needed to develop further with age.
Jefferey Park estimates that the Pinot Noir can evolve over a period of approximately 10 to 15 years when stored appropriately, giving consumers the option to enjoy the wine relatively soon after purchase or cellar it for future occasions.
“When Common and I first spoke, we recognized a shared belief that great wine should create experiences and bring people together,” said Karim Mussi, founder and winemaker of Altocedro. “With Jefferey Park, we created a wine that is elegant and expressive, yet approachable enough to open with friends any day of the week.”
Gopuff Brings the Wine Directly to Consumers
The launch also expands Gopuff’s involvement in bringing creator- and celebrity-led consumer products to market. Through its instant-commerce model, Gopuff is making Jefferey Park available alongside snacks, meal ingredients, beverages and other everyday products.

For customers in participating markets, the platform is designed to provide access to the wine through rapid delivery, with Gopuff stating that products can reach customers’ doorsteps in as little as 15 minutes.
The Jefferey Park launch joins a growing group of products developed through Gopuff partnerships with recognizable personalities. The company’s previous collaborations have included projects with Tom Brady, Cole Palmer and Alix Earle, spanning categories such as beverages, ice and confectionery.
For Gopuff, the Jefferey Park partnership demonstrates how its distribution infrastructure can help new brands move from concept to consumer while maintaining a strong connection to the personalities and stories behind those products.
“Jefferey Park is exactly the type of brand we love bringing to life: a product with an authentic story, exceptional quality and broad appeal,” said Tyler Stewart, Head of Marketing at Gopuff. “Jefferey Park is the result of what happens when great creators, world-class craftsmanship and Gopuff’s infrastructure and scale come together.”
A Brand Built Around Shared Experiences
Beyond the wine itself, Jefferey Park is positioned around the idea that food and beverages can help create memorable experiences. Common’s connection to the Chicago neighborhood that inspired the name provides the brand with a personal foundation, while Mussi’s involvement adds an international winemaking dimension.
The Pinot Noir also reflects a broader consumer interest in products that combine craftsmanship with storytelling. Rather than presenting the wine simply as a celebrity-backed product, Common and the team behind Jefferey Park have emphasized the collaborative process and the wine’s origin in Mendoza.
The 2024 vintage marks the first release from the brand, making it a limited-edition offering for consumers interested in exploring the project at launch.
Availability and Pricing
Jefferey Park Pinot Noir 2024 is currently available in select markets through Gopuff and at participating BevMo! stores. The wine is priced at $19.99 for a 750-milliliter bottle, although pricing may vary depending on the market.
The wine is available only to customers who are 21 or older, in accordance with applicable laws. Consumers are encouraged to drink responsibly.
With its combination of Common’s personal story, Karim Mussi’s Argentine winemaking expertise and Gopuff’s instant-commerce platform, Jefferey Park introduces a new wine brand centered on craftsmanship, accessibility and the shared experiences that inspired its name.
