This collaboration marks a significant milestone with a multi-year contract, designating GAR as the exclusive supplier of over a million tons of tropical oils to Verborg Group.
Verborg Group, a dynamic family business managed by seasoned professionals with over thirty years of experience in the oil and fat industry, has recently inaugurated a cutting-edge vegetable oil refinery in the Netherlands. The refinery is set to commence operations in late January 2024. GAR, in line with its commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing, will supply three main inputs under this agreement – Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), and Coconut Oil.
This strategic partnership perfectly aligns with GAR’s European business strategy, aiming to establish enduring relationships and a secure supply of high-quality, responsibly sourced tropical oils.
