In an exciting partnership, McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme, renowned for their delectable sweet treats, are embarking on a nationwide expansion. Doughnut aficionados can anticipate finding Krispy Kreme delights at their local McDonald’s outlets later this year, with a phased market rollout scheduled to reach nationwide availability at participating restaurants by the end of 2026.

Three of Krispy Kreme’s most beloved doughnuts will be freshly delivered to McDonald’s outlets daily, offering customers the opportunity to indulge individually or in convenient six-piece boxes, available from breakfast through the day while supplies last:

  1. The iconic Original Glazed® Doughnut: A heavenly treat featuring Krispy Kreme’s signature glaze, delivering an unparalleled melt-in-your-mouth experience.
  2. The Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles Doughnut: Adding a chocolatey twist to the classic, this doughnut is dipped in chocolate icing and adorned with rainbow sprinkles for a burst of flavor.
  3. The Chocolate Iced Kreme™ Filled Doughnut: Crafted with a light, fluffy dough and filled with smooth Kreme™, this delight is dipped in chocolate icing for an irresistible combination.

The decision to expand nationally follows a successful trial at 160 McDonald’s locations in the Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky areas, where consumer demand exceeded expectations. These pilot restaurants will continue to offer Krispy Kreme doughnuts as part of the nationwide rollout.

To celebrate this sweet collaboration, Krispy Kreme is offering a complimentary Original Glazed® Doughnut to all guests who visit U.S. Krispy Kreme shops between 5 and 9 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 26).

Furthermore, this partnership is poised to significantly expand Krispy Kreme’s accessibility, with plans to more than double points of access by the end of 2026. Charlesworth highlighted, “The partnership accelerates the development of our existing Delivered Fresh Daily channel, creating operating leverage through distribution density and production utilization.”
