Tejon Ranch President and CEO Sets Retirement Date

oday, Mr. Gregory Bielli, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tejon Ranch Co., announced his intention to retire on December 31, 2024. Mr. Bielli has served as President and CEO since 2013, overseeing significant growth and transformation within the company.

During his tenure, Mr. Bielli focused on creating an integrated real estate company encompassing planning, entitlements, construction, sales, and leasing across various real estate assets. He successfully expanded Tejon Ranch Co.’s non-real estate platform as well. Under his leadership, the company secured new legislative land use entitlements and amended existing ones for Tejon Ranch’s four mixed-use master plans. His team managed the sale, development, and reacquisition of over 5.5 million square feet of industrial and commercial space at the Tejon Ranch Commerce Center. Key accomplishments include the construction and opening of The Outlets at Tejon, the expansion of the Foreign Trade Zone, and the recent groundbreaking of Terra Vista at Tejon, the company’s first residential project. Additionally, Mr. Bielli enhanced water resources and farming operations, and oversaw the company’s rights offering and recent refinancing, maintaining a strong financial position.

“It has been a true honor and privilege to serve as President and CEO of this amazing company for the past 10 years,” stated Mr. Bielli. “I feel very fortunate that we, as a team, have accomplished so much for our shareholders and this historic ranch. The foundation we’ve established over the past decade will benefit the company, its shareholders, and the communities we cherish for years to come.”

Following his retirement, Mr. Bielli will retain his seat on the Board of Directors and serve as a senior advisor through 2025, ensuring a smooth transition for his successor and the company.

Tejon Ranch Co. has engaged Korn Ferry to assist an ad hoc search committee in conducting a national search for Mr. Bielli’s successor. The search committee includes Norm Metcalfe, Michael Winer (Chair of the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee), Steve Betts (Chair of the Compensation Committee), and Gregory Bielli.
