West Midtown Restaurant Week Brings Michelin-Starred Dining and Neighborhood Favorites, Sept. 20–26

West Midtown is preparing to put its vibrant culinary culture in the spotlight with the launch of the inaugural West Midtown Restaurant Week, taking place September 20–26, 2026. The weeklong celebration will bring together restaurants from across the Atlanta district, offering diners an opportunity to explore a broad range of culinary experiences, from Michelin-starred dining and acclaimed Southern cuisine to casual neighborhood favorites, craft cocktails, coffee and international flavors.

The first-ever event is designed to highlight the diversity and creativity that have helped establish West Midtown as one of Atlanta’s increasingly influential dining destinations. Throughout the seven-day celebration, participating restaurants will introduce special menus and dining experiences intended to encourage both local residents and visitors to discover familiar favorites and try restaurants they may not have visited before.

Restaurant Week participants will offer a variety of dining options across brunch, lunch and dinner. Special offerings are expected to include prix fixe menus, shareable dishes, tasting experiences, signature cocktails and other restaurant-specific creations. With a wide range of price points, cuisines and dining styles represented, the event aims to make West Midtown’s food scene accessible to a broad audience while showcasing the neighborhood’s growing culinary reputation.

Among the leading names participating in the inaugural celebration are Bacchanalia and Miller Union, two restaurants that have played an important role in shaping Atlanta’s contemporary dining culture. Bacchanalia has been a fixture in the city’s fine-dining scene for more than three decades, while Miller Union has earned recognition for its thoughtful approach to seasonal Southern cuisine.

Both restaurants are led by James Beard Award-winning chefs and founders Anne Quatrano and Steven Satterfield, respectively. Their involvement reflects the strong connection between West Midtown Restaurant Week and the independent chefs and restaurant owners who have helped build the neighborhood into a dynamic food and beverage destination.

The event also shines a light on newer concepts joining the West Midtown dining community. Summerland, Quatrano’s breakfast-and-lunch concept located at Upper West Market, represents a newer chapter in her culinary portfolio. Meanwhile, Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is preparing to open its first West Midtown location, adding another destination to the neighborhood’s expanding restaurant landscape.

Another notable participant is Taqueria del Sol, a longtime Howell Mill Road institution that has served Atlanta diners since 2000. Its participation demonstrates the range of businesses represented during the week, bringing together established neighborhood institutions, celebrated fine-dining destinations and newer restaurants.

The full 2026 West Midtown Restaurant Week lineup includes Avize Modern Alpine, Bacchanalia, Barrel Proof, Cheba Hut, Chicheria Mexican Kitchen, Cooks & Soldiers, Drawbar, The Daily – West Midtown, E+ROSE, Emmy Squared Pizza, Fox Bros Bar-B-Q at The Works, Füm, Ghee Indian Kitchen, Grecian Gyro, Holiday Bar, Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, Little Sparrow, Lo Kee, Lucky Star, Miller Union, Monday Night Brewing — The Grove, Muchacho, O-Ku Atlanta, The Optimist, Ormsby’s, The Painted Duck, Paya Thai Kitchen, Pretty Hens Rotisserie, Summerland, Taqueria del Sol, Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours, the Woodall and Your 3rd Spot.

The breadth of the lineup gives diners the opportunity to experience an impressive mix of cuisines and restaurant formats without leaving the West Midtown area. From Southern and Mexican dishes to Indian, Thai, Japanese and Mediterranean-inspired offerings, the event reflects the increasingly international character of Atlanta’s food culture.

For diners interested in socializing, the event also provides options beyond traditional restaurant meals. Bars, breweries and entertainment-focused venues are included in the lineup, creating opportunities for visitors to build a full evening around the Restaurant Week experience. Whether the goal is a special dinner, a casual lunch, a weekend brunch or drinks with friends, the participating businesses offer a variety of ways to experience the neighborhood.

Because the most popular tables are expected to fill quickly, organizers are encouraging diners to plan ahead and make reservations where required. Restaurant Week menus, availability and individual participation details may vary by establishment, making it important for guests to check the event directory before visiting.

The complete restaurant directory and additional event information are available through the official West Midtown Restaurant Week website. Diners can also follow the event’s Instagram account, @westmidtownrestaurantweek, for announcements, updates and information about participating restaurants and special offerings.

The event is being produced by Livable Buckhead in partnership with the West Midtown Alliance, a newly formed coalition of local business owners focused on supporting the continued development and vitality of the West Midtown neighborhood. The alliance is led by prominent chef-owners, including Steven Satterfield of Miller Union and Anne Quatrano of Bacchanalia, Star Provisions Market & Cafe and Summerland.

The partnership brings together restaurant operators and other local businesses with a shared interest in strengthening West Midtown as a destination for dining, entertainment and community activity. The West Midtown Alliance represents more than 50 neighborhood businesses and is focused on promoting the district’s continued growth while supporting the businesses that contribute to its identity.

West Midtown Restaurant Week also benefits from sponsorship support from the Westside Provisions District, the Upper Westside Community Improvement District and RoughDraft Atlanta. The event builds on the successful model of Buckhead Restaurant Week, an established dining promotion produced by Livable Buckhead.

By bringing that model to West Midtown, organizers hope to create a recurring celebration that gives restaurants a platform to introduce their food and hospitality to new audiences while encouraging diners to explore the neighborhood. Restaurant weeks can also provide participating establishments with an opportunity to highlight signature dishes, experiment with special menus and connect with customers in a more focused way.

The inaugural West Midtown Restaurant Week arrives at a time when Atlanta’s restaurant industry continues to evolve, with neighborhoods across the city developing distinctive culinary identities. West Midtown’s combination of established restaurants, emerging concepts, entertainment venues, breweries and hospitality businesses has helped make the district an increasingly attractive destination for food lovers.

The September 20–26 celebration is therefore more than a collection of restaurant promotions. It is intended as a showcase of the people, businesses and culinary ideas contributing to West Midtown’s growth. By bringing dozens of establishments together under one event, organizers are creating a weeklong opportunity for residents and visitors to experience the neighborhood through its food and beverage community.

With a lineup that ranges from acclaimed fine dining to casual eateries and entertainment destinations, West Midtown Restaurant Week is positioned to offer something for virtually every type of diner. As the inaugural event approaches, advance planning and reservations may be especially important for restaurants with limited seating or high demand.

For full restaurant listings, participating menus and event updates, diners can visit westmidtownrestaurantweek.com or follow @westmidtownrestaurantweek on Instagram. The event runs from September 20 through September 26, 2026, giving Atlanta diners an entire week to discover the restaurants and culinary experiences that make West Midtown a distinctive part of the city’s food scene.
