DoorDash has reaffirmed its commitment to improving street safety across New York by supporting two significant pieces of state legislation aimed at reducing dangerous road behavior and promoting greater accountability among delivery workers and motorists. The company has endorsed the Moped Registration Verification Act and the Stop Super Speeders Act, both of which are designed to address specific safety concerns affecting delivery workers, pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and communities throughout the state.
As one of the largest delivery platforms operating in New York, DoorDash says it recognizes the importance of creating safer streets for everyone who uses them. Every day, thousands of Dashers navigate busy city streets and suburban roadways while sharing space with pedestrians, cyclists, public transit users, and other motorists.
