Tractor Supply Announces Another Animal Days Event Celebrating Pets, Animals and Their Caregivers
Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, has announced the return of its popular Animal Days celebration, giving pet owners and animal lovers another opportunity to save on essential products while supporting shelters, rescues and organizations dedicated to animal welfare.
Running through Sunday, August 23, the two-week Animal Days event is designed to celebrate animals of all sizes and the people who care for them. The program combines special promotions on pet and animal products with giveaways, community activities, pet adoption opportunities and charitable support. Customers are encouraged to bring their leashed pets along when visiting participating Tractor Supply stores during the celebration.
The event comes during the peak of summer, a time when many pet owners are looking for ways to keep their animals healthy, active and comfortable. Tractor Supply said Animal Days provides customers with an opportunity to stock up on everyday necessities while also recognizing the important role pets, farm animals and animal-care organizations play in communities across the country.

She noted that the cost of caring for animals can quickly add up, making the event an opportunity for customers to find value on essential products while celebrating pet owners, shelters and rescues.
Savings on Pet Food, Treats, Toys and Wellness Products
Pet ownership remains a major priority for American households, with more than three-quarters of Americans owning at least one type of pet, according to research cited by Tractor Supply. Food and treats account for a significant portion of recurring pet-care expenses, while toys, vitamins and specialized nutrition also contribute to monthly spending.
With this in mind, Tractor Supply has positioned Animal Days around savings on products that pet owners regularly purchase. The promotion includes treats, toys, health and wellness products, food and other animal-care supplies.
The retailer is also highlighting its expanded assortment of pet products. Earlier this summer, Tractor Supply added more than 200 new dog and cat products to its merchandise selection, giving customers additional choices across nutrition, treats, toys and other categories.
Animal Days promotions include products from major national brands as well as Tractor Supply’s exclusive brands. These private-label offerings are intended to provide customers with reliable quality at competitive prices.
Among the featured brands is 4health, one of Tractor Supply’s popular exclusive pet brands. The brand offers more than 140 food products and formulas designed to meet the nutritional needs of different pets. Tractor Supply says 4health products can provide comparable nutrition at nearly 25% less than national brands.
Other featured brands include Paws & Claws, Retriever, DuMOR and Producer’s Pride, giving customers options across pet care and animal nutrition categories.
August 15 Animal Days Celebration
A major highlight of this year’s program will take place on Saturday, August 15, when every Tractor Supply store will host a special Animal Days celebration for local communities and their leashed pets.
The in-store event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time. Customers can participate in free dog and cat treat tastings featuring products from 4health, Paws & Claws and Retriever.
Tractor Supply is also offering several special doorbuster promotions throughout the day. Featured offers include five TSC Mini Buckets for $5, select five-pound bags of 4health dog food for $5, 50% off Paws & Claws 25-pound cat litter and 50% off Retriever biscuits, bringing the price of the biscuits to $4.
In addition to product savings, customers can receive free collapsible dog bowls and participate in a plush toy bandana craft activity for children, while supplies last.
Individual stores may also organize additional activities based on their local communities. These can include food trucks, pet adoption events, music and other family-friendly entertainment. Customers are encouraged to check with their local Tractor Supply store for details about activities and schedules.
Strengthening Support for Animal Shelters
Animal Days also places a strong emphasis on animal welfare. Millions of dogs and cats enter shelters and rescue organizations across the United States each year, creating an ongoing need for funding, supplies, volunteers and adoptive families.
Tractor Supply is continuing its partnership with Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation through the annual Mutts Across America program. The initiative provides financial assistance to animal shelters and foster-based rescue organizations throughout the country.
Under the program, one shelter or foster-based rescue organization in every state is selected to receive a $5,000 grant. An additional “Wildcard” organization is also chosen in recognition of Lambert’s GRAMMY-winning album of the same name.
Recipients are selected based on factors such as community involvement, adoption performance and standards of animal care. The grants are intended to help participating organizations purchase supplies and provide better care for animals awaiting adoption.

The sixth year of the Tractor Supply and MuttNation partnership will bring the charitable initiative directly into Tractor Supply stores during the August 15 Animal Days celebrations. Store team members will recognize participating shelter representatives and present them with jumbo checks representing their grants. Each recipient will also receive a $50 Tractor Supply gift card to help purchase additional supplies.
More Than $2 Million in Shelter Grants
The Mutts Across America program has developed into a significant source of support for animal welfare organizations. Since its launch, the initiative has helped more than 500 shelters and provided upwards of $2 million in grants.
The partnership gives Tractor Supply customers another way to participate in animal welfare efforts beyond the Animal Days event itself. Customers can support MuttNation and its work by purchasing products from the MuttNation pet collection, which is available exclusively at Tractor Supply.
The collection includes products such as toys, pet food, bedding and other animal-care essentials. Proceeds and participation help extend the impact of the partnership while allowing pet owners to purchase products for their own animals.
