Inverness Graham Green Light Fund, a strategy focused on investing in businesses driving and benefiting from the shift towards environmental sustainability, has announced its third investment today: a majority recapitalization of My Yield. My Yield specializes in providing integrated seed treatment formulations, application systems, and agronomic support solutions directly to growers. Their solutions enhance crop yields by applying targeted treatment technologies coated on seeds, improving plant strength and protecting them during crucial growth stages. They also include biological and nutritional components to enhance soil health in plant root zones.
Originally founded in 1995 as a seed-handling solutions manufacturer in Oelwein, Iowa, My Yield has grown into a leading provider of seed coating and agronomic solutions, aiding growers in achieving better yields. This investment aligns with Green Light’s focus on AgTech Transition, one of its targeted industry areas, driven by the increasing demand for agricultural yield enhancement and sustainable solutions.
Paul Nolen, Managing Principal at Inverness Graham, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are excited to partner with My Yield, a company leading innovation in performance seed treatment. My Yield’s solutions not only improve yield but also promote soil health. They enable growers to treat their seeds conveniently on their farms, maximizing flexibility and utilizing the latest technologies for optimal yield.”
Co-CEOs Austin Forsyth and Gabriel Gorman shared their excitement about the partnership as well: “We are thrilled to have Inverness Graham as our partner. My Yield is revolutionizing agriculture by providing growers with the tools for precise and timely seed treatment, essential for maximizing plant health and yield potential in today’s environment. With Inverness Graham’s support, we aim to expand our offerings to better serve our customers and explore new markets.”
