AGCO, a global leader in agricultural machinery and precision ag technology, has announced the introduction of its AE50 award-winning Fendt® 600 Vario® Series tractor to the North American market. This tractor offers exceptional maneuverability and features the latest generation of Fendt’s innovative VarioDrive continuously variable transmission (CVT). The versatile 600 Vario is designed to be an efficient, all-purpose machine suitable for various farm tasks. Available in four models (614 Vario, 616 Vario, 618 Vario, and 620 Vario) with rated-engine horsepower ranging from 149 to 209, the 600 Vario is ideal for small to medium-sized farms, handling everything from row crop farming to loader work and transportation.

The Fendt 600 Vario is powered by the new AGCO Power CORE50 4-cylinder, 5-liter engine. Combined with the Fendt iD low-speed concept, it delivers maximum torque of 950 Nm at low rpm (1,200 to 1,600), ensuring strong performance with impressive fuel efficiency.
Innovative technologies in the 600 Vario series include:
- The optional VarioGrip automatic tire pressure control system, which adjusts tire pressure to minimize slippage and optimize ground contact.
- The FendtONE operator station, which integrates advanced smart farming features, merging machine and agronomic data into a customizable and updatable technology suite.
- A vertically continuous panoramic window in the cab for excellent all-around visibility.
- The new generation of Fendt’s VarioDrive CVT, providing smooth power transmission on any terrain by precisely regulating power to each wheel.
- A separate hydraulic reservoir from the transmission, preventing cross-contamination, as found in all Fendt tractors.
The Fendt 600 Vario will be available for purchase at Fendt dealerships across North America starting in August 2024.
