Farmers Benefit as AGCO Opens Advanced Parts Distribution Center in Visalia, California
AGCO Corporation is expanding its commitment to farmers and agricultural equipment dealers across the western United States with the opening of a new, state-of-the-art Parts Distribution Center in Visalia, California. The facility officially opens September 1, 2026, significantly increasing AGCO’s regional parts inventory and strengthening the company’s ability to deliver critical replacement components to customers when they need them most.
Located in California’s Central Valley, one of the most productive agricultural regions in the United States, the new distribution center replaces AGCO’s existing Visalia facility. The expanded operation is designed to improve parts availability, shorten delivery times and provide stronger service support for farmers and dealers throughout the western United States.
AGCO plans to hold a formal grand opening celebration for the facility during the first quarter of 2027.
The new distribution center represents a major investment in AGCO’s customer service infrastructure and supports the company’s broader Farmer-First strategy. By placing a larger inventory of frequently needed agricultural equipment parts closer to customers, AGCO aims to help farmers minimize equipment downtime and keep essential machinery operating during demanding planting, growing and harvesting periods.
“We reimagined every step of how parts move, from receiving to shipping, and built the systems to match, including advanced automation, smarter forecasting and a deeper local inventory,” said Stefan Caspari, Senior Vice President, Customer Success and North American Ag, AGCO. “For our dealers and farmers, this means more of the parts they need are on the shelf and closer to home, giving them greater confidence that the right part will be there when it matters most.”
More Than Double the Size of the Previous Facility
The new Visalia Parts Distribution Center spans approximately 115,000 square feet, more than doubling the size of AGCO’s previous operation in the region. The larger footprint provides significantly greater storage and stocking capacity, allowing the company to maintain a broader selection of parts designed to meet the needs of farmers and agricultural equipment dealers across the western United States.
The facility is strategically positioned near the Golden State Highway, making it highly visible and providing an important logistical location within California’s Central Valley. Its location places AGCO closer to major agricultural operations and dealer networks throughout California and neighboring western markets.
The distribution center will support AGCO’s full portfolio of agricultural machinery brands, including Fendt and Massey Ferguson. By expanding local inventory for these brands, AGCO expects dealers to have improved access to components required to maintain and repair equipment.
For farmers, faster access to replacement parts can have a direct impact on productivity. Agricultural operations often work within narrow seasonal windows, meaning equipment failures can create costly delays. Having critical parts stored closer to customers can reduce waiting periods and allow dealers to respond more quickly to service needs.
Pat O’Neill, Vice President, Ag & Lift of Quinn Company, said the new facility could make a significant difference for farmers in California and throughout the West Coast.
“A parts center of this caliber in our backyard is a game changer,” said O’Neill. “AGCO stocking more parts closer to home means we can get farmers the parts they need the same day, a real win for growers across California and the entire West Coast.”

Advanced Technology Designed for Faster Parts Movement
AGCO designed the new facility from the ground up to support a modern, high-volume parts distribution operation. The center incorporates advanced warehouse technologies, specialized material-handling systems and digital infrastructure intended to improve the movement of parts from receiving through final shipment.
Among the facility’s technologies are vertical lift modules, which provide high-density storage while making more efficient use of available warehouse space. The center also uses high-density narrow-aisle racking, enabling AGCO to increase storage capacity while maintaining organized access to inventory.
The distribution center includes dedicated storage areas for oversized components, an important feature for agricultural equipment parts that may be too large or specialized for conventional storage systems.
Advanced automation is another key component of the facility. By integrating automated systems into warehouse processes, AGCO can improve inventory handling, order fulfillment and overall operational efficiency. The company is also using smarter forecasting capabilities to better anticipate demand and position parts where they are most likely to be needed.
These technologies are intended to support not only traditional dealer orders but also AGCO’s continued growth in e-commerce. The company designed the facility’s digital and operational infrastructure with the expectation that it will support changing customer purchasing patterns for more than two decades.
Supporting AGCO’s Farmer-First Strategy
The Visalia investment is part of AGCO’s broader effort to strengthen customer support and improve the ownership experience for farmers. Reliable parts availability is an important element of equipment uptime, particularly as modern agricultural machinery becomes increasingly sophisticated and technology-driven.
AGCO’s Farmer-First approach places emphasis on understanding customer needs and improving the products, services and support systems that farmers rely on throughout the equipment lifecycle. The new distribution center contributes to that strategy by strengthening the company’s ability to provide replacement parts through its dealer network.
The facility also supports AGCO’s continued growth in North America. As agricultural equipment fleets evolve and farmers increasingly rely on advanced machinery, maintaining an efficient parts network becomes increasingly important.
Sustainability Features Built Into the Facility
In addition to its logistics and technology capabilities, the Visalia distribution center incorporates several features designed to support more sustainable operations.
The building includes rooftop solar power, allowing the facility to generate renewable electricity and reduce its reliance on conventional power sources. Electric vehicle charging stations are also included as part of the site’s infrastructure.
These features complement AGCO’s broader efforts to incorporate sustainability into its operations while expanding the company’s distribution capabilities.
The combination of renewable energy infrastructure, modern warehouse systems and efficient storage technologies gives the Visalia center a role beyond simply providing additional warehouse space. It represents a long-term investment in a more advanced and responsive parts distribution network.
Four Years of Planning and Development
The project was shaped by approximately four years of network analysis, facility design and collaboration across AGCO’s global organization. The extended planning process allowed the company to assess regional parts demand, logistics requirements, dealer needs and future growth opportunities before designing the new operation.
As a result, AGCO describes the Visalia facility as one of its most advanced parts distribution centers.
Opening on September 1, 2026, the facility establishes a stronger foundation for AGCO’s parts operations throughout the western United States. Its expanded inventory capacity and advanced warehouse technology are expected to help dealers respond more quickly to farmers while giving customers greater confidence in the availability of essential replacement components.
With agriculture across California and the broader western United States continuing to depend on reliable equipment during critical production periods, AGCO’s investment in Visalia underscores the importance of efficient parts distribution. By bringing more inventory closer to customers and combining it with automation, forecasting and digital capabilities, AGCO is positioning the new center to serve farmers and dealers today while supporting the company’s growth for years to come.
