Harvest Fest Tractor Supply Celebrates Local Farmers, Makers and Artisans
Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, is bringing communities together to celebrate local agriculture, entrepreneurship and craftsmanship through its nationwide Harvest Fest. The annual event will take place Saturday, Sept. 12, at participating Tractor Supply stores across the country, giving customers an opportunity to meet local farmers, makers, bakers and artisans while discovering a wide variety of locally produced goods.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time, participating stores will transform portions of their locations into farmers market-style marketplaces. Local entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to display and sell their products directly to members of their communities, creating a setting that highlights the creativity, hard work and agricultural traditions that help shape rural life.
Harvest Fest reflects Tractor Supply’s ongoing commitment to supporting the people and communities that define its rural lifestyle customer base. The company says the event is designed not only as a shopping experience but also as a celebration of the individuals who grow, create and produce goods close to home.
“Out Here, our neighbors grow, make, bake and build incredible things every single day,” said Eric Jackson, Vice President of Marketing at Tractor Supply. He added that Harvest Fest provides an opportunity to recognize local talent, support entrepreneurs and showcase the work of people who are already an important part of Tractor Supply’s customer community.
The event will feature a broad selection of products made or grown by local participants. Customers may find handmade crafts, specialty foods, agricultural products and other locally produced items, depending on the participating vendors at each store.
Among the featured products are handmade birdhouses, wind chimes, jewelry, crocheted goods and custom-forged knives. Food-focused offerings are expected to include homemade cakes, fresh bread, hot sauce and popcorn. Attendees may also discover locally sourced honey, canned goods, fresh produce and other products reflecting the agricultural diversity and culinary traditions of communities throughout the country.
By providing local producers with an opportunity to connect directly with consumers, Harvest Fest can help increase visibility for small businesses and independent entrepreneurs. Events such as these also give customers a chance to learn more about where products come from and meet the people responsible for growing, producing or crafting them.
This year’s Harvest Fest also includes a special connection to the National FFA Organization. The first 20 customers at each participating Tractor Supply store will receive a free limited-edition Harvest Fest tote featuring a design created by FFA member Mia Harman of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
The tote design was selected through a Tractor Supply design contest held in April for FFA members. Students were invited to submit artwork inspired by agriculture and rural life. The winning student received a $250 Tractor Supply gift card, while her FFA chapter was awarded a $1,000 gift card to help fund future projects.
Harman’s winning design celebrates several familiar elements of agricultural life, including livestock, fresh produce and a traditional barn. The artwork is built around the phrase “Rooted in Ag,” highlighting the connection between young people, agriculture and their communities.

The FFA partnership adds an educational and youth-focused element to Harvest Fest while reinforcing Tractor Supply’s broader efforts to encourage the next generation of agricultural leaders. FFA provides students with opportunities to develop skills and explore careers in agriculture, skilled trades and related industries.
Following the farmers market-style portion of the event, customers can also explore Tractor Supply’s seasonal merchandise. The retailer will feature a selection of farm-inspired home and outdoor accents, as well as Halloween costumes and decorations for customers preparing for the fall season.
Harvest Fest shoppers will also have the opportunity to receive a $1 discount coupon for Pepsi products with a qualifying $5 purchase, while supplies last. The promotion provides an additional incentive for customers to participate in the community event while supplies remain available.
Tractor Supply is also using the occasion to encourage customers to support agricultural education and career development. Through Sunday, Sept. 20, customers can contribute to Tractor Supply’s FFA Future Leaders fundraiser either in participating stores at checkout or through the company’s online shopping platform.
Funds raised through the initiative will support scholarships for FFA members pursuing education in agriculture-related fields and skilled trades. The program is intended to help students continue their education and prepare for careers that contribute to the future of agriculture, rural communities and essential skilled industries.
Together, Harvest Fest and the FFA Future Leaders fundraiser demonstrate Tractor Supply’s focus on strengthening connections between consumers, local businesses, agricultural producers and future industry professionals. By creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs to showcase their work and providing financial support for students, the retailer is placing community engagement at the center of its fall activities.
For customers, Harvest Fest offers more than an opportunity to shop for locally made products. It provides a chance to meet neighbors, discover regional specialties, support small businesses and celebrate the agricultural heritage that remains central to communities across the United States.
As Tractor Supply continues to build its presence in rural and suburban communities, events such as Harvest Fest provide a platform for the farmers, artisans, bakers, makers and young agricultural leaders who help keep those communities thriving.
