The Hershey Company Issues Correction

Cadbury is bringing chocolate, fashion and generosity together with the launch of its new “There’s Magic in More” campaign, a multi-year platform built around the idea that a little extra thought, generosity and chocolate can turn ordinary moments into memorable experiences.

To introduce the campaign in the United States, Cadbury is stepping into the spotlight at New York Fashion Week through an unexpected collaboration with fashion label LUAR. At the center of the activation is the limited-edition Cadbury Clutch, a glamorous, crystal-covered accessory designed not simply to complement a fashionable look, but also to hold and share Cadbury XL chocolate bars.

The collaboration represents the brand’s largest U.S. campaign to date and offers a playful interpretation of Cadbury’s long-standing association with generosity and sharing. Rather than treating chocolate as something to enjoy alone, the campaign encourages consumers to think about how small gestures can create meaningful connections.

A Chocolate Clutch Designed for Sharing

The Cadbury Clutch combines luxury fashion details with the unmistakable visual identity of the chocolate brand. Finished in Cadbury’s signature jewel-tone purple, the accessory features gold accents and individually applied Swarovski crystals that give it a striking, high-fashion appearance.

Creating the crystal-covered flap required approximately eight hours of detailed craftsmanship. Beneath the glamorous exterior is a concealed platinum-silver insulated interior designed to help keep Cadbury chocolate cool and ready to share.

Only five Cadbury Clutches have been created, making the accessories exceptionally limited. The design transforms a familiar act—carrying chocolate to share with someone—into an eye-catching fashion statement.

The project was developed in collaboration with LUAR Founder and Creative Director Raul Lopez, whose design approach brings together bold silhouettes, distinctive details and cultural influences.

“Cadbury’s focus on quality, detail and generosity mirrors my work,” Lopez said. “From the silhouette and color to the hand-applied crystals, every element feels intentional and true to both brands. It is bold and beautifully crafted, but designed to be opened and shared.”

Introducing “There’s Magic in More”

The Cadbury Clutch is only one part of the brand’s broader “There’s Magic in More” campaign.

The new platform explores the idea that doing a little more for someone can have an outsized impact. That could mean giving someone a little more attention, making an unexpected gesture of generosity or simply sharing a piece of chocolate.

Cadbury is using the campaign to build on its heritage of creating chocolate designed for sharing. The brand says its chocolate-making tradition reflects the same spirit of generosity that sits at the heart of the new platform.

The first chapter introduces consumers to the “Department of More,” a fictional world dedicated to the people, craftsmanship and thoughtful details behind Cadbury chocolate.

Through cinematic storytelling, social content and cultural activations, consumers will meet people involved in producing the brand’s chocolate, including ingredient specialists, chocolate makers and taste-testers.

The campaign aims to highlight the care and expertise that go into every product while showing how those extra efforts can contribute to moments of enjoyment and connection.

Cadbury Meets New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week provides the first major cultural stage for “There’s Magic in More.”

The Cadbury Clutch will make its runway debut at LUAR’s Spring/Summer 2027 New York Fashion Week show on September 14. The activation will feature Cadbury CARAMELLO XL Bars alongside several other products, including DAIRY MILK XL, DAIRY MILK Fruit & Nut XL, CARAMELLO Sweetly Dark XL and CARAMELLO Miniatures.

The partnership extends beyond the runway. NYLON Editor-in-Chief Lauren McCarthy and content creator Tefi Pessoa will carry the Cadbury Clutch during Fashion Week activities, including the LUAR show and NYLON Nights, as well as appearances around New York City.

The combination of fashion and chocolate gives Cadbury an opportunity to introduce its new campaign to audiences in a highly visual and culturally relevant setting.

A Pay-It-Forward Message

Generosity is also at the center of the campaign’s consumer engagement strategy.

Through the Cadbury and NYLON Pay It Forward Sweepstakes, consumers are invited to nominate someone who consistently gives a little more to the people around them. Participants can share the story of an individual whose generosity, kindness or thoughtfulness makes a difference in other people’s lives.

Two selected nominees will receive custom LUAR-designed Cadbury Clutches. The people who nominated them will also receive matching clutches, creating a shared recognition of both the individual being celebrated and the person who took the time to recognize them.

The initiative reinforces the campaign’s central message: generosity becomes even more meaningful when it is noticed, celebrated and passed forward.

Consumers can participate beginning September 15 through the campaign’s designated entry platform, subject to the applicable eligibility and sweepstakes requirements.

Cadbury’s View on Generosity

Eric Newton, Director of Premium Chocolate at The Hershey Company, said the campaign reflects Cadbury’s belief that memorable experiences often begin with simple acts of generosity.

“At Cadbury, we believe the most memorable moments begin with a simple act of generosity, whether that’s sharing a piece of chocolate or going the extra mile for someone else,” Newton said.

He added that the Cadbury Clutch brings the idea to life by combining craftsmanship, chocolate and an invitation to share.

The concept is deliberately playful. Instead of presenting generosity as something complicated, Cadbury connects it with everyday gestures that can create moments of happiness between people.

Five Limited-Edition Clutches

The exclusivity of the Cadbury Clutch is an important part of the Fashion Week activation. With only five pieces created, the accessory is not being offered as a retail product.

Each clutch combines fashion-focused craftsmanship with practical features intended specifically for chocolate. The insulated interior helps protect the chocolate, while the jewel-tone purple exterior, gold detailing and Swarovski crystals give the accessory a distinctive luxury appearance.

The design ultimately reflects the campaign’s broader philosophy: take something familiar and add a little more thought to make it special.

A New Chapter for Cadbury

“There’s Magic in More” marks an ambitious new chapter for Cadbury in the U.S. market. By combining chocolate with fashion, entertainment, storytelling and consumer participation, the brand is positioning generosity as a central part of its cultural identity.

The New York Fashion Week launch gives consumers a first glimpse of the campaign through an unexpected object—the Cadbury Clutch—while the wider platform is designed to continue the conversation over multiple years.

At its core, the campaign encourages people to recognize the impact of going beyond the expected. A little more thought, a little more generosity and, naturally, a little more chocolate can turn an everyday interaction into a moment worth remembering.

With its sparkling clutch, LUAR partnership and pay-it-forward initiative, Cadbury is making that message visible in a distinctly New York way: bold, creative, unexpected and designed to be shared.
